The City of Campbell's Public Works Department invites the community to attend a public meeting regarding the East Campbell Avenue Portal Project 11-EE, held in the City Council Chamber of Campbell City Hall on Wednesday, June 27 at 6pm.

This project is currently under design and is anticipated to include the following improvements: pedestrian walking tunnels underneath HWY 17 on East Campbell Avenue; widened bike lanes and traffic lanes at the HWY 17 undercrossing; and installation of aesthetic improvements on the east side of HWY 17 undercrossing to provide a "gateway" into Downtown Campbell.

Currently, there are no funds allocated for construction of this project. If funds become available, it is anticipated that construction could begin in the fall of 2012.
