The City of Monterey wants to hear from you! The City is gathering feedback from a variety of stakeholders that will help shape the final version of its Economic Development Strategy, slated to be presented in early 2027.

If you are age 18 or older, please consider taking this 8-10 minute survey to give the City of Monterey government your opinions. This includes residents, business owners, people who work here, and local students. The survey will close on December 31 .

Kick off Halloween Week in New Monterey! On Saturday, October 24, Lighthouse District shops, restaurants, and boutiques will be open and welcoming little goblins with special treats, 2pm-5pm, rain or shine. So dress up the kids, get in the spirit, and come on down with your family to enjoy a fun and safe time in the community.

All businesses handing out candy will be located on Lighthouse Avenue in New Monterey between Reeside and David and will have a Lighthouse Halloween poster displayed in the window.

The Lighthouse District is primarily made up of local, owner-operated businesses. Your spending here directly supports your community.
