This past summer, we acquired a remarkable private collection devoted to architecture featuring a wide range of work spanning modernism, theory, and the avant-garde. Most copies are in Near Fine to Fine condition. Come and see!

Old Monterey Book Co. has re-opened its doors as The Rose Books & Obscurities . Owned and operated by husband and wife Ernest and Yasmine Rodriguez, the shop is now open Tue, 1pm-6pm, and Thu-Sun, 12pm-5pm, at 136 Bonifacio Place.

The Rose Books offers a diverse selection of second hand, collectible, and rare books in a variety of subjects. With an emphasis on classic titles, the in-store experience attempts to preserve the essence of antiquarian bookshops of the past.

Parents, here's a fun reading activity you can do at home with your kids! Local children's author Julie Dart is doing weekly read-alongs of her book "The Adventures of Jimmy and his Red Jacket" that features numerous locations that were inspired by real places in Campbell. Each week Julie will invite kids to guess the real names of the locations that Jimmy visits in the book and the first ten responses will win a prize from the real location.
