Namaste India Bistro has reopened at 538 Lighthouse Avenue! After extensive renovations, this local favorite is open for indoor dining and take-out, Tue-Sun, 11:30am-2:30pm & 5pm-9:30pm. They're excited to have a newly expanded menu and a redecorated dining room.

Namaste has many vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options on the menu, and they've added some exciting new items. The lunch buffet is currently closed, but in addition to choosing dishes from the regular menu for lunch, you can also order bento-style specials which include curry, rice, salad, pickle, naan, and dessert.

Monterey Fire Department is hosting a free walk-in Covid vaccine clinic for everyone age 18+ on Saturday, May 8, 1pm-4pm, at the head of Old Fisherman's Wharf. They'll be administering the Janssen ("one-and-done") vaccine.
