2026 calendars have arrived at Lighthouse Books! We think this year's selection looks even better than last year (pictured here).

There are a wide variety of titles to choose from - 200 different calendars - but quantities are limited to 1 or 2 of each, so be sure to visit us soon at 600 Lighthouse Ave. We're open daily, 11am-6pm.

Current Comics at 400 Lighthouse Avenue now has in stock the first Marvel / DC crossover comic in over 20 years, Deadpool / Batman #1, r eleased on September 17. This is an incredible, 64-page one-shot comic with 7 different stories inside for just $6.99.

Current Comics has recently been buying collections of vintage comics and making them available for sale. We now have a bunch of good titles from DC and Marvel from the 1980s and a couple hundred DC Silver Age books from the 1960s-1970s, including military stories set in WWII (including Our Fighting Forces , Our Army at War , and more).

Our selection is ever-changing as we slowly work through the collections we've acquired and price them. All are at the store at 400 Lighthouse Ave; some are also available on our website .

Alma del Mar makes our own, all-natural soap in-house, and sometimes...it doesn't turn out as well as we'd hoped. So we're having a big sale!

The Cooper-Molera Adobe Museum has opened a gift shop! There you'll find postcards of the property, porcelain replicas of found china, tote bags, t-shirts, writing plumes, handcrafted ornaments by local ceramist Casey Starks , and old fashioned children's games.

The Museum, located at 506 Munras Avenue, is open Fri & Sat, 10am-2pm.
