The New Monterey Business Association would like to thank all the children and their adults who attended despite the rainy weather, as well as the businesses who gamely agreed to carry on despite the forecast. The sky was gray and the rain fell hard, but spirits were high! We loved to see the many smiles.

Alvarado Street Brewery and Grill invites you to join our Facebook and Instagram contest! October 20-31, submit an original photo of your own Alvarado Street Brewery and Grill themed pumpkin. You can carve it, paint it, or decorate it – it’s up to you! Take a photo of your pumpkin, then tag it on Instagram and/or Facebook using the hashtag #ALVARADOBREW. We’ll select a winner and announce the results by November 5, 2014. Holiday Tours of Ainsley House 2014

In beautiful, historic Ainsley House, all of its 15 rooms will be transformed into a warm, inviting home for the holidays. The entire house will be decorated by local interior designers, house decorators, florists, and volunteers and will feature a special holiday boutique, full of unique delights such as seasonal gifts, ornaments, tea accessories, scarves, and more.

Docent-led tours of Ainsley House will be offered Thursday-Sunday, 12pm-4pm, November 20-30 and December 3-18. Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors, and $4.50 for youth ages 7-17; admission for children and museum members is free. Proceeds from the tours as well as sales at the holiday boutique will benefit the non-profit Campbell Historical Museum & Ainsley House Foundation. City council decisions affect Campbell residents in ways great and small. It's important that we learn about each of the six candidates so we can make an informed decision, and that all of us vote on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 in the General Municipal Election, when three of those six candidates will be elected to four-year terms on Campbell City Council.
