It'll be delayed, but Boogie Music Festival will happen in 2021 as Boogie Remixed 2021 on Saturday & Sunday, August 21st & 22nd in Downtown Campbell. The Campbell Chamber is excited to announce Boogie Music Festival in a remixed format.

Though the dates have changed, the need for volunteers remains the same. As always, volunteers are a large part of what make our festivals such a success. If you are able to participate by working a shift during the event, please sign up by filling out a volunteer information form from the link below.

If you signed up previously, we still have your information. All volunteers will be contacted directly with specifics as the festival gets closer. Please feel free to invite family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors - volunteering as a group is extra fun and rewarding.

To volunteer as a group, please email Teresa Stanko (teresa@campbellchamber.net) with names, date, times and your preferred tasks.

No Fireworks Allowed in Monterey

Posted on June 29th, 2021 by lighthouseave

A message from Monterey Fire Chief Gaudenz Panholzer:
California has been experiencing devastating fire seasons with large losses of lives, property, and environment. Use of fireworks for the 4th of July holiday creates a major threat for increased fires.

The City of Monterey asks that you do your patriotic duty to reduce the risk of fire by not using fireworks when celebrating the 4th of July. In the City you may be subject to a $1000 fine if you are caught using any type of fireworks (including those marked as "safe and sane"). Thank you for enjoying the holiday responsibly and safely.

Did you know? American Burger has a secret menu item: pupusas. Made by hand with love, these pupusas are delicious, grilled, homemade corn tortillas filled with pork and cheese.

American Burger was started in August of 2009 by the Miguel family. Proud immigrants from El Salvador, they named their restaurant "American Burger" in honor of their own pursuit of the American entrepreneurial dream. With their pupusas, the Miguel family is sharing their traditional family recipe, and a taste of Salvadoran comfort food, with you.

American Burger is located at 738 Lighthouse Avenue in Monterey and is now offering indoor dining, take-out, and curbside pick-up.
