The lightweight wool, unlined, offers a drape to the garments that is both cozy and classic. These pieces, like all of our signature apparel, are designed in house and hand sewn in Monterey.

We are beyond thrilled to introduce our Lilify line in lightweight wool. There are currently three patterns offered in both black and white: the Sonia (cropped jacket), the Ines (long jacket), and the Coco (long cape). You can view them all on our website.

2020 4th of July Parade - Now accepting applications!

It is with great regret that the Old Monterey Business Association has canceled the 2020 Old Monterey 4th of July Parade due to the prohibition of large group gatherings during the Covid-19 pandemic. Thank you to all of our friends who have participated in the parade over the years, and to the many, many spectators who have lined the streets of historic Downtown Old Monterey on the 4th of July. We'll see you next year as we celebrate Monterey's 250th Birthday Plus One!

We are now accepting applications for the 2020 4th of July Parade in Monterey, California, part of Monterey's 250th birthday celebrations! This is going to be a spectacular parade, and we're calling for entries early this year with a special emphasis on marching bands, specialty units, community groups, and floats. Apply today! The Curtis Gallery, recently opened at 451 Washington Street in Downtown Old Monterey, is pleased to announce the release of ethnologist and photographer Edward S. Curtis's Hupa and Yurok photogravure copper plates. Each plate is unique, one of a kind, historic, and beautiful, and is now available to avid collectors of Native American art and history.

In 1924, Edward S. Curtis (1868-1952) published Volume 13 of his series of books, The North American Indian. In Volume 13, pages 3 thru 54, Mr. Curtis reflects upon his interactions with the Hupa and Yurok tribes, including thirty-eight and eighteen photogravure images respectively.

The Curtis Gallery has been provided the opportunity to exclusively offer twenty-six Hupa and seventeen Yurok copper photogravure plates to you, should you have an interest in enjoying a permanent part of history. Please contact us at 831-920-1405 for more information.
