The City of Campbell's Summer Concert Series is in full swing and this week's performers are the crowd favorites, the Cocktail Monkeys, returning again by popular demand. It's easy to see why they're so popular. They put on quite a show and nail pop performances from a range of eras. Here's a short medley of some songs they covered in their appearance last year.

Shows are on Thursdays at 6pm throughout the summer at the Orchard City Green (in front of the Ainsley House in Downtown Campbell).

We at Youth Arts Collective (YAC) are so proud of YACster Angela Bomarito, who recently accepted a six month position at the Walt Disney Company as a Digital Media Intern! Angela was always one of our most prolific painters - she started out focused on fine art, learned graphic arts at MPC, and was then accepted at CSUMB in 2016. You can see Angels's fabulous work on her website here. Congratulations, Angela!

YAC is a nonprofit, after school art studio and mentorship program for high school and college artists - brilliant and struggling, confident and fringe, multi-ethnic, multi-tempered, and over 40% financially challenged. They learn art, job, and life skills, and gain a healthy dose of self-esteem and gratitude along the way. YACsters learn to believe in themselves, take creative risk, and give back.

YAC provides supplies, studio space, art training, exhibition and commission opportunities, individual mentoring, and a community unlike any other. We’re open 4 hours a day, 6 days a week, year round.
