The new, long-lasting, permanent body wave "digital perm" is finally here at Shinbi Salon! We're currently the only salon on the peninsula to offer this service. Call us for more details, 831-373-7919.

A digital perm is for someone: who has fine hair that needs volume and body, who has straight hair that needs movement in their hair, who has unmanageable and uneven waves in their hair that needs to be uniform, or who likes to curl their hair with a curling iron but doesn't want to damage the hair. A digital perm makes the wave most prominent when the hair is dry, and loose when it's wet. In addition, digital perms thermally recondition the hair so it often feels softer, smoother, and shinier after the perm. And it lasts from 8 months to a year!

Shinbi Salon is located at 421 Alvarado Street in Old Monterey.

On Sunday, January 15th, 2017, the latest concept in de-stressing and wellness arrived in Downtown Campbell. The Float Station had their grand opening with a ribbon cutting conducted by the Campbell Chamber of Commerce and a catered open house to introduce what they're all about to the local community.

The Float Station allows you to experience a relaxation treatment known as "floating" where you shut out the world around you and reset your senses by floating in a pod of water infused with 1200 pounds of high quality Epsom salt. A standard treatment lasts an hour.

You can find out more and schedule your first float on their website:

‪Famous man of action and bad hair days, Bob Carlson, was one of the recipients of the Rotarian of the Year award from the Rotary Club of Campbell. Bob has been a tremendous asset for the Campbell community in too many ways to count. At just about any major and not so major event happening in Downtown Campbell, Bob is there coordinating volunteers that he helped to organize and lending his hands to do whatever needs to be done. If you've met Bob before, you'll know what a great guy he is and we couldn't be happier to see him get recognized for his service.

Congratulations Bob and many thanks from Downtown Campbell!
