The City of Monterey will be doing sewer work on Prescott Avenue between Lighthouse Ave and Foam St this Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, (September 26, 27 & 30).

That block of Prescott Avenue will be closed during work hours. A traffic control plan will be in place. Foam Street will be reduced to one lane in the area. Traffic and parking will be impacted including on Lighthouse Ave near the Prescott intersection. This project includes work on a man hole that extends into Lighthouse Ave.

During the week of September 19, 2016, daytime construction work will continue on the Holman Highway 68 Roundabout. Crews continue the earthwork stage of construction and it will be noticeable from the road as you drive through the construction zone. During construction, expect increased delays traveling through the crossing of Holman Highway 68 and Highway 1.

If you didn't catch the article in the latest Campbell Express, here's the news about the collaboration between City of Campbell, Campbell Historical Museum and Ainsley House Foundation and Delphi Academy of Campbell students to create a drought-friendly, California native demonstration garden in Downtown Campbell. It looks better in print, however, so get your copy before they're out!

The City of Monterey has informed us that a crane will be stationed on Del Monte Avenue alongside the Monterey Conference Center for construction purposes until October 7, 2016. Parking may be restricted and lanes may be reduced on Alvarado Street (from Franklin Street to Del Monte Avenue) and Del Monte Avenue (from Washington Street to Pacific Street). Expect delays in the area.
