The Bay View Academy Founders Group invites parents and teachers in the New Monterey Community to review and sign our petition for a charter school to replace the soon to be closing Bay View Elementary School. At least 100 signatures are needed before the petition can be submitted to the Monterey Peninsula Unified School Distict (MPUSD). This is your opportunity to ask questions, see the layout
of the education plan and lend your support.

Only parents of school age children or teachers can sign the petition. There are three opportunities to sign the petition:

  • Come to the Review and Sign Meeting on Wednesday, October 20th at Hilltop Park. Come anytime between 6pm to 9pm to the lower classrooms by the tennis courts.
  • Sign the petition outside Bay View Elementary on Thursday, October 21st and Friday, October 22nd in the morning or afternoon.
  • Email the Bay View Academy Founders Group at bvasupporters@googlegroups.com and the petition will be brought to you.
