Oceans Need Everyone: Teen Summit at the Aquarium

This event has already passed

Monterey Bay Aquarium presents a free Teen Aquarium Night, part of the first-ever Oceans Need Everyone (ONE) Teen Summit that weekend, hosted by the Aquarium’s education department as part of its teen education outreach programs.

During the public night event, local teens can network with student teams from regional high schools who are already involved in conservation projects at their schools and in neighboring communities, as well as with local non-profit organizations to explore how to get involved in local ocean conservation efforts.

Teen Aquarium Night includes attendance to the Teen Summit keynote address by Sara Bayles, an environmental activist and author who uses her creativity to bring environmental stewardship to the hearts of those around her. The event also includes presentations by the regional high school teams, a special feeding program at the Kelp Forest exhibit, and dessert.

Teens are welcome to attend individually or in groups with an accompanying adult. All teens must have an entry ticket signed by a parent or guardian to enter the aquarium. For more information and to register, please visit the Teen Summit website.
