Monterey Budokan Martial Arts Academy, located in the heart of Monterey's Lighthouse District, is offering a Martial Arts Children's Camp for boys and girls, ages 5-7. The class will be held August 6-9, 10am-3pm. Extended care is available each day, 3pm-5:30pm.

For 4 days in a safe environment, young warriors will have an opportunity for powerful experiences. Daily activities will include: intensive martial art training, self-defense training, self-esteem and deslf-discipline philosophy classes, discussion and sharing about teamwork and self-development, meditation and yoga, wooden sword training, first aid, and more.

Camp will be taught and facilitated by certified black-belt instructors. Students will participate in all activities together. This full schedule develops cooperation and interactive skills, building self-confidence and self-discipline. Through the self-defense training, the students will learn the ability to identify potential conflicts and avoid dangerous situations.

Tuition fee is $185 for the 4-day camp, with an additional $40 for the 4 evenings of extended care if desired. For more information and to register, please click here.
