Just what is the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival? Is it just bluegrass? …As the name implies — hardly. The annual three-day music fest in San Francisco features live performances by some of the most popular traveling country, folk, and rock acts in the United States. Seven stages, more than 100 artists, and it’s all free!

Join Monterey Hostel for a tune-filled tribute to the awesome 2015 Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival, now in its fifteenth year at Golden Gate Park. This festival is a hoedown of epic proportions featuring the best strummin', pickin' and fiddle playin' on the planet. We’ll share the history, the music, the memories, and the logistics of attending. Bring your favorite dish for the potluck, and bring your instrument if you want to join in on a song or two.

The optional potluck will begin at 6pm, the discussion will begin at 6:45pm. (Help setting up at 5:30pm is appreciated.) Everyone is welcome!
