MIIS is pleased to present musician Meklit Hadero and her band, who will kick-off African Nations Week with a dynamic performance followed by discussion on Monday, February 26, 7pm-9pm in Irvine Auditorium in the McCone Building.

Meklit is an Ethio-Jazz singer, songwriter, cultural instigator and TED senior fellow involved in many global projects linking the arts and social change. The evening will be introduced by Jeff Dayton-Johnson, with post-performance conversation hosted by Tangut Degfay as part of the Fund for Innovation project 10X10 at MIIS: Intercultural Arts and Leadership.
