This event has already passed

Old Capitol Books presents The Isms of March, part of our spring seminar series, Thinking Critically about Society. Today we'll focus on the ethos of Primitivism and its radical critique of our way of life. The seminar will be facilitated by Jeffrey Erwin. Check out today's readings here.

This series of seminars on critical thinking and social theory has been put together by Old Capitol Books, the Direct Action Monterey Network, and the Monterey Community Education Project. This month we’re holding four seminars: What Is Anarchism? (March 9), Understanding Neoliberalism (March 16), Reading Marx (March 23), and Exploring Primitivism (March 30). These discussions are facilitated by professors at CSU Monterey Bay, local activists, and thinkers just like you.
