Middlebury Institute of International Studies presents music and stories from Uganda with ethnomusicologist Damascus Kafumbe on Thursday, May 3, 7pm-8:30pm at the McGowan Building, Room 100.

The Spring Intercultural Arts Series continues with ethnomusicologist Damascus Kafumbe's lecture/demonstration, Tuning the Kingdom: Kawuugulu Musical Performance, Politics, and Storytelling in Buganda, followed by a "musical Africanisms" percussion workshop and reception. Musical instruments provided or bring your own!
