Luminata Books & Gifts presents Seeing with the Eyes of a Shaman: A Talk and Shamanic Ritual on Friday, June 22 at 7:30pm. The event is free; love offerings are accepted.

Shamans have a unique way of looking at life and events. They realize they themselves are extensions of the universal divine consciousness, and they seek to embody this awareness in their actions and perceptions. They learn to listen from within, and see with the eyes of their soul. Shamans allow themselves to be guided by the light of their hearts.

Popular local shaman Jon Rasmussen will give a talk on seeing the world the way a shaman does, and learning to be guided by inner vision. Jon will also lead us in a shamanic ritual for healing, blessing, and renewal in honor of he summer solstice. We invite you to participate in this uplifting event and learn how to let your own heart-light guide you.

Jon Rasmussen is a local shaman and author of Dreaming Your World into Being. His studies include apprenticeship with world famous shaman Alberto Villoldo, and tutelage in the Andes with the Q'ero Indians of Peru. Jon has a national reputation as a carrier of the authentic shamanic tradition of the Americas.
