Monterey Bay Poetry Consortium: Readings by Jennifer Lagier and Andrena Zawinski

On the second Sunday of each month, come to Old Capitol Books to see the poets of the Monterey Bay Poetry Consortium. This afternoon's featured poets are Jennifer Lagier and Andrena Zawinski, who will read from their work. There is a suggested donation of $5.
Jennifer Lagier has published fourteen books, co-edits the Homestead Review, and helps coordinate Monterey Bay Poetry Consortium readings. Her newest books are: Scene of the Crime (Evening Street Press), Harbingers (Blue Light Press), Camille Abroad (FutureCycle Press), and Like a B Movie (FutureCycle Press).
Andrena Zawinski is a veteran educator and activist poet whose poetry has received accolades for free verse, lyricism, form, spirituality, and social concern. Her full poetry collections are Landings, Something About, and Traveling in Reflected Light. She has also authored four chapbooks and a collection of postcard poems. She founded and runs the San Francisco Bay Area Women’s Poetry Salon and is Features Editor at PoetryMagazine.com.
