The City of Monterey invites everyone to a Picnic in the Park on Saturday, September 15, 11am-2pm, on Colton Hall Lawn. The free event will include family activities and a special visit from the Golden State Warrior’s NBA Championship trophy.

Residents are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch and lawn games. You'll have an opportunity for a photo with the Larry O'Brien NBA Championship Trophy, and there will be booths and activities provided by City of Monterey Recreation Division and the Fire and Police Departments. Music provided by KRML.

This event will also be a kick-off celebration for the 250th anniversary of the founding of Monterey, featuring an unveiling of the event logo. Bring your ideas about how we can celebrate this milestone in 2020.
