Matt Masih and The Messengers have been dominating the west-coast music scene for the last 2 years. Their most recent full-length record, Commotion, has big horn lines, catchy hooks, and down-to-earth lyrics. A 6-piece jam band from Santa Cruz playing a mixture of funk, soul, groove, and reggae, they say: "We believe that music is best when it truly comes from your heart."
