All Monterey voters are urged to attend the Monterey Mayor and City Council Candidates Forum on Monday, October 1 at 7pm at Irvine Auditorium in the McCone Building on the MIIS campus. Become an informed voter!

Candidates for Mayor are Clyde Roberson (incumbent) and Bill McCrone (community organizer & attorney). City Council candidates are Timothy Barrett (incumbent), Terrell Maddox (event organizer & former army medic), Ed Smith (incumbent), and Tyller Williamson (Navel Postgraduate School). Two seats are open on City Council. The Mayor serves a 2-year term and City Council members serve a 4-year term.
