The award-winning Bob Cheevers is celebrating his 75th birthday and promoting his latest album called “Bob On A Stick, with 14 new songs on 128mb memory sticks recorded live over two weekends last year with some of his favorite music friends all gathered around a single AEA R88 ribbon mic at Moon Studio in Sacramento.

This is Bob Cheevers's 50th year as a songwriter. He’s written over 3,000 of ‘em. He's the 2011 Texas Music Awards “Singer/songwriter of the year” and an Emmy winning songwriter who was opener for what was to be Johnny Cash’s final tour. His 10 commercial CDs offer a wealth of characters, some of whom are real and others imagined. A seasoned, journeyman performer with endless tales of to tell, the road he’s been on has resulted in a fine tuned musical voice and the spinning of his rootsy, blues-flavored tales of life in conversational language of the heart.
