Theory & Philosophy Reading Group: Kimberlé Crenshaw and Patricia Hill Collins

This event has already passed

This month, at the Theory and Philosophy Reading Group at Old Capitol Books in collaboration with the Direct Action Monterey Network, we’re going to look at the important work of Kimberlé Crenshaw and Patricia Hill Collins. Crenshaw's work has been important in constructing the theory of intersectionality, which has transformed feminist thinking, while Collins works in the realm of black epistemology. Come talk about theory, philosophy, and how it relates to current events with a friendly group of readers and thinkers.
