Venture Gallery invites you to meet local artist Cheryl Kampe in person on Saturday, November 5, 2pm-6pm. Drop by the gallery, view her new exhibit, Tapestries, and speak with her about it.

Visiting New Mexico as a child, Cheryl Kampe was always aware of her mother's family history as weavers in the town of Chimayo. She writes: "These blankets have adorned our families' homes all my life and are the inspiration for my paintings." Her family worked in wool, while she now renders beauty from oil paint and cold wax.

Venture Gallery is now open six days a week, 10am-6pm (closed Tuesdays). Cheryl Kampe's artwork will be featured through November 2022.
