Old Capitol Books invites you to join us for an evening with Daniel Summerhill and a book launch party on Friday, December 10 at 6pm for Our Grapes of Wrath, a Project 21 Anthology and a Black History of Monterey County. Daniel B. Summerhill is a poet and scholar originally from Oakland, CA. His work has appeared in Columbia Journal, Obsidian, Academy of American Poets, and elsewhere. The author of two collections of poems, he is currently Assistant Professor of Poetry/Social Action and Composition at CSUMB and is the inaugural Poet Laureate of Monterey County.
