Michael’s musical style is a blend between New Age and Classical, and has been described as heartfelt, cinematic, and reflective. “Each of us seeks that magical place where we feel serenity and relaxation. I always try to be vulnerable enough so people can literally feel who I am when I play,” says Michael.

In 2004, Michael became The Grand Piano Man for the Big Sur International Marathon. Since then, he has played annually for thousands of runners on the nine-foot concert grand piano at the famous Bixby Bridge turnout.
