For those of you who remember Old Capitol Books' former location, you know it was huge, cavernous, and magically filled to the brim with printed material. The new location, at 482 Alvarado Street, is small, cozy, and delightful (you should visit sometime). But the owners of Old Capitol Books still have 30,000 books from the old location in storage....and they would love to see them back out in the world.

So book lovers, there will be a HUGE garage sale on Sunday, May 25, 9am-5pm, in the New Monterey neighborhood with thousands of books, all marked at $1 each. Here's your chance to stock up on summer reads!!

And all of that cash? It'll help support the owners of Old Capitol Books, who've devoted themselves to literature and community.
