About Hand Stitching

Did you know that sewing is not just for sewing machines? Hand-stitching is so cathartic and soothing that many if us can't imagine a life without it. It doesn't need to be complicated or fancy to be good.

About the Class

In this class, you'll learn four basic hand-stitches that will get you through almost any project: running, back, hem, and whip stitch. You'll also learn where to use them and which fabrics, threads, and needles to use for which projects. Together, we'll make a pair of napkins. Time permitting, we'll learn some additional stitches!
