About the Workshop

This experiential event will explore the relationship between the arts and human health and well-being. We will discuss why healthcare systems around the world identify the arts as a key factor in well-being, how Montage Health champions the arts locally, and explore the concept of “social prescribing” and how healthcare providers can prescribe arts experiences.

Participants will engage in an exercise to help identify what positively contributes to their personal wellness and how to start building their own social Rx.

About Elizabeth Harbaugh

Elizabeth Harbaugh is the Art & Music Program Manager at Montage Health in Monterey. She is passionate about facilitating human connection through art and facilitating programs to support creative communities. She holds a BA and MA in Art History and has previously worked in art non-profits, private art collections, and museums.

Wendi Kirby Music is an intimate concert venue featuring beautiful acoustics, natural light, and a deck with a view of the ocean. Please note: this venue is located on the second floor. Because of the historic nature of the building, there is no elevator.
