Boro Stitching and Mending Workshop at Slowfiber
Saturday, February 28, 2026 - 12:30pm
Slowfiber presents a Boro Stitching Workshop taught by Kris Nardello on Saturday, February 28, 12:30pm-4:30pm. Fee is $85 - register on Slowfiber's website.
About the Workshop
Do you have holes in the knees of your favorite jeans? Stains on the sleeves of that comfy shirt? We all love the look of precision sashiko stitching, but if you're looking for something faster and more instinctual, boro stitching is the way to go. Bring your garment to class for a makeover and learn about this Japanese boro stitching technique.
Kris has years and years of experience to help teach you how to make a solid repair using decorative and functional patches and stitching.
