This event has already passed
Slowfiber presents a workshop entitled Felting Favorite Environments: A Landscape, led by instructor Sahar Jabr on Saturday, March 14, 12:30pm-5pm. Fee is $145. Register on Slowfiber's website.
About the Workshop
In this workshop, we'll be turning memory, place, and emotion into felt. We'll work with wet felting - using warm water, soap, wool fibers, and silk. No needles are used. The process is gentle, tactile, and meditative.
You’re invited to bring a landscape photo that speaks to you - a place you love, remember, or dream of. We’ll use it as inspiration, not as something to copy, but as a starting point for personal expression.
Felting allows color, texture, and movement to emerge naturally. There is no right or wrong, and no prior experience is needed - only curiosity and openness to explore.
