About the Workshop

Radiant Fabric Collage is an innovative collage design concept developed by Vicki using the technique of concentric layering and repetition which delights the eye and keeps the artist engaged from start to finish.

There's no sewing involved - we'll use an iron-on adhesive with a cardboard background. You get to experiment with balance, color and shape. A 12" x 10" piece can be completed in one day. Good for beginning or advanced artists.

Vicki Assegued is a fiber artist and instructor who is always finding new and unique ways to work with textiles and fibers. Through her creative process, she explores many ways to weave, layer, collage, attach, coil, tie, knot, twist, build, and develop her pieces so they're vibrant and engaging. Vicki supports and inspires her students to fully engage in their own creative process of discovery and expression.
