Poetry in the Park: Poetry Reading at First Theatre 2026

In celebration of National Poetry Month, Monterey State Historic Park invites you to Poetry in the Park, an afternoon of live readings by local poets at California's First Theater on Saturday, April 4, 1pm-3pm. This is a free event. Doors open at 12:45pm - seating is limited.
The event will feature Monterey County Poet Laureate Marie Boucher and Monterey County Youth Poet Laureate Mya Pop along with twenty-one other local poets.
