Monterey Hostel invites you to join us for our weekly hikes, Hiking with the Gabis, every Wednesday at 9am. All are welcome! No reservations necessary. In case of rain, please text the hostel at 831-677-6060.

Hike Details

Hikes will last approximately 2 hours and be in different locations each week in a variety of environments. We aim to keep hikes accessible for beginners. All ages are welcome.

Sometimes we'll begin our hike at the hostel, other times we'll drive from the hostel to the trail. Transportation is available at the hostel for a few guests. But if you have a car, we recommend that you bring it in case we run out of space in our vehicle.

Dates and Times

We hike every Wednesday at 9am, meeting at Monterey Hostel. We will not meet on public holidays or the day before public holidays. In case of rain, please text the hostel at 831-677-6060.

Hike Leaders

Gabi and Gabi (yes, there are TWO!) run family-owned Cafe Guarani in Pacific Grove. They are passionate about the outdoors and want to share their enthusiasm for hiking in this beautiful area.
