Tai Chi for Beginners at Cooper-Molera Adobe

Repeats Weekly on Mondays from Sep 29 2025 to Dec 15 2025.

All are welcome to join Tai Chi for Beginners on Mondays at 10am with Liana Olson, Senior Trainer with the Tai Chi for Health Institute. Held at Cooper-Molera Adobe, either outdoors at garden level or indoors in the Skylight Room (weather permitting). Join for one session or the entire 6-week series which may be repeated.

Please wear comfortable, well-fitting shoes and dress in layers. Plan to arrive 5-10 minutes early to sign the class waiver and sign in.

Fees

Drop in fee is $10. A 6-class pass is $48. Please pay instructor directly.

About the Class

This Tai Chi program, designed by Dr. Paul Lam, is based on the most popular Yang style 24 Forms. It gives students an easy-to-learn format that leads to a solid foundation.

The program takes learners on an enjoyable journey to better health and harmony through the power of Tai Chi, building in steps that incorporate warm-ups, Qigong, stepping exercises, foundational movements, and exploring the connections between movements. Tai Chi principles are introduced in each session in a safe and satisfying way.
