Monterey's annual 4th of July Parade is a must-attend celebration that draws approximately 15,000 people to line the streets in and around Old Monterey. Come revel in the festive floats, patriotic displays, entertaining costumes, and musical bands.

Monterey County Pops!, a 40-piece professional orchestra, presents a free Independence Day concert at Golden State Theatre featuring favorite American popular and patriotic tunes. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, with doors opening at 6pm.

After the 4th of July fireworks, Bon Ton L'Roy's Lighthouse Smokehouse presents Kings of the Valley , the super group with the super groove from Carmel Valley, bringing together blues rock, beat, and country soul sound with outstanding harmonies, great dance tunes, and original music.
