Join Peter Broucke, Director of Art at Middlebury College, for a lecture entitled Institutional (Art) History at Monterey: The “Spanish Lady” Painting and the Fight Against Communism . He'll discuss the painting by Ignacio Zuloago (1870-1945) that resides in the Lara Soto Adobe, and how it came to Monterey.
