Slowfiber hosts Stitching, the Histories, the Common Threads We Share , a free meet-up on the second Wednesday of every month, 11:30am-2:30pm. Please register on our website.

Join us while we stitch side-by-side and discuss our relationship to, our history with, and our practice in textiles. Whether you are a collector or just an appreciator, as long as you stitch you are welcome - slow stitch, cross stitch, embroider, quilt, whatever.

Come out and celebrate Brews for Books at Alvarado Street Brewery and Grill on Wednesday, May 11. A portion of proceeds from all sales, 4pm-10pm, will benefit Monterey Public Library. Great food, great drink, great cause!
