Go Hiking with Monterey Hostel

Monterey Hostel

Monterey Hostel invites you to join us for our weekly hikes. We meet at the hostel every Thursday at 9am for coffee and coordination, then head out by 9:30am. All are welcome! No reservations necessary.

Hikes will last approximately 2 hours and be in different locations each week in a variety of environments. We aim to keep hikes accessible for beginners and all ages. In case of rain, please text the hostel at 831-677-6060.

Monterey Public Library Friends & Foundation hosts Alka Joshi , author of The Henna Artist , on Thursday, May 29, 6pm-8pm in the Community Room of Monterey Public Library.

Tonight, Joshi will discuss her much-anticipated new novel, Six Days in Bombay, and share insights into her writing process. Tickets are $25 - registration required .
