"Circle talk time" at Gracie Jiu Jitsu is a very important part of every Gracie Bullyproof children's class, where we discuss topics relevant to our character development program. For two month periods, we focus on a specific topic. Right now, we're talking about "responsibility," and the kids share ideas of how they can practice responsibility in their daily lives outside of class. Children are rewarded with points by their parent. When they earn enough points, they're invited to our Gracie Game Day party! Jiu Jitsu culture is not just about learning how to defend yourself, it's also about how to be the best person you can be.
