On 27 June, 1976, four hijackers seized an Air France flight. The plane was on its way from Tel Aviv to Paris, the hijackers were two members of the PFLP (The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine) and two German members of the left-wing extremist group, Revolutionary Cells. They held over a hundred hostages – mainly Israelis – for a whole week. This film reconstructs what happened after the aircraft landed in Entebbe where the hijackers were supported by Ugandan dictator Idi Amin, and the true story of the daring rescue mission. Marina, a transgender woman, is a singer and waitress who has just moved in with her lover, Orlando. One night, Orlando wakes up feeling very unwell. Marina rushes him to a hospital, but he dies, and Marina is viewed with suspicion both by the doctors and Orlando's family. Orlando's ex-wife and son forbid Marina from attending the wake or the funeral. Marina struggles for the right to be herself in spite of the allegations, and she realizes that the exclusions might have more to do with her identity than with Orlando's death. Watch the trailer.
