At Lighthouse Family Dentistry, we are proud to serve many military families stationed at the Naval Postgraduate School and the Defense Language Institute. Most of the military families are covered with Metlife. Active military have their own dental care providers, so we rarely see them. However, Metlife is issued for the spouse and/or dependents, and we see them frequently in our office. As a general rule all should have their check-ups, etc. with branches of the service; they are required to show that they are “caries free” prior to foreign travel.

Some of the dental services that military families can utilize include: dental exams, teeth cleaning, fillings, crowns, and more, depending on insurance coverage.
