Montrio Bistro has been certified as a 2-Star Certified Green Restaurant by the Green Restaurant Association (GRA), an international nonprofit organization helping restaurants become more environmentally sustainable.

Montrio implemented 56 steps and received 153.49 Green Points on the GRA's rigorous certification scale, 53% above and beyond the minimum requirements necessary for this award. In doing so, they achieved: near-zero waste operation, full recycling and composting, renewable energy credits, reusables for in-house, and over 40% of the food is organic.
