All are welcome to the 21st Annual Turkish Arts and Culture Festival for a weekend of free family fun, August 4 and 5 at Custom House Plaza. Hours are 11am-7pm on Saturday and 11am-6pm on Sunday. We'll have live music, folk and belly dancing performances, Turkish food and drinks, and special activities for children, including face painting and coloring.

Turkish food and drink will include Adana kebap (a long, charcoal-grilled, minced-meat brochette on a wide skewer), doner kebap (spicy barbecued meat), borek (cheese and spinach filled pastry), baklava, and the wonderful, thick, strong Turkish coffee.
