Do you like to meet new people, share stories, and share our Monterey history? Maybe you'd like to become a Presidio of Monterey Museum Docent! You're invited to a docent orientation session on Tuesday, September 11, 6:30pm-8:30pm, and a docent training session on Saturday, September 15, 10am-1pm. Both will be conducted at the Monterey Emergency Operations Center, located behind Monterey Fire Station #1.

You'll learn the history and significance of the beautiful Lower Presidio Historic Park, home of the "best small museum on the Central Coast" as you train to be a docent. The Presidio of Monterey Museum is located in Building 113 in Lower Presidio Park at 76th Artillery Street and Corporal Ewing Road in Monterey.
