Old Capitol Books hosts a free writing workshop given by authors Dietrich Kalteis and Patrick Whitehurst on Tuesday, October 23 at 6:30pm. Kalteis and Whitehurst will talk about their approach to writing fiction and non-fiction.

Dietrich Kalteis is the award-winning author of six novels and over fifty short stories. He lives with his family on Canada’s West Coast. Patrick Whitehurst lives in Monterey and writes the Monterey Noir series. His non-fiction includes The Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History.
