Monterey Museum of Art on Pacific Street present an evening with guest curator Susan Danly, who will speak on, and lead a walking tour of, the exhibit Seeking Eden: James Fitzgerald in Monterey on Thursday, February 24, 5:30pm-6:30pm.

Danly will discuss the impact of Fitzgerald’s Monterey years on his artistic vision and love of the natural world. Fee is $15 for museum members, $25 for all others. Register in advance online.

Currently an independent curator of American Art, Susan Danly (Ph.D. 1983, Brown University) has worked in museums across the country over the past thirty years – from the Huntington Library and Art Galleries in California, to the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia, the Mead Art Museum at Amherst College, and the Portland Museum of Art.
