Learn to create your own exclusive natural designs using leaves, seaweed, blossoms, and more and print them using ink on cotton fabric. Evelyn will take you through the formal steps of printing using time-tested tools on fabric. Your hand printed and designed fabrics can find purpose as garments, bags, tablecloths, placemats, book covers, and more…
Born in Chile, Evelyn Klein moved to Montreal in 1970, where she received her BFA in art education at Concordia University. In Canada she worked with leading collective printmaking studios and master printers producing exclusive limited editions. During that time, she showed her work nationally and internationally.
After 27 years, Evelyn moved to California where she established Equinox Press in Carmel, where she offers workshops, experimental work, and creative exchanges in a non-toxic environment. She has taught printmaking at Monterey Peninsula College for the last 17 years.
